"Behind the Sink" is a feature news story based on the workers of Aramark’s Food Services at University of the Ozarks.
PhD’s, kids, Facebook… The stories behind the faces that serve you food on a daily basis are far beyond more complex and deep than you think. In this story, the principal objective was to portray the workers at University of the Ozarks’ Cafeteria in a different perspective. While the majority of students see the cafeteria’s workers as the people that serve them food, the truth is they have stories and personalities that go far beyond their work as cafeteria workers. Amanda McCartney, Assistant Food Service Director, talks about the life of a cafeteria worker.
